Assistant HR Manager

About the role

The Assistant HR Manager will support the human resources function across Vedic Village’s operations, primarily at the Alleppey property. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, and training coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment processes and onboarding of new staff.
• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
• Coordinate training and development activities.
• Support performance management cycles and related documentation.
• Handle day‑to‑day employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labour regulations.
• Help implement HR initiatives that strengthen workplace culture and staff engagement.
• Collaborate with department heads and senior HR leadership to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in core HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and records management.
• Experience in performance management, employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
• Sound knowledge of HR policies, applicable labour laws, and statutory compliance within the hospitality sector.
• Prior HR experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is mandatory.
