About the role

The school is seeking an Assistant Cook to support daily food preparation for students and staff. Working in a busy kitchen environment, you will help deliver nutritious meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. This position provides the chance to work within a collaborative team dedicated to student wellbeing and to further develop your culinary skills in an educational setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to set menus and dietary requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and keep accurate records of food stocks and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a cook in an educational or institutional setting.
  • Food safety certification is a plus.

Required skills

  • Strong cooking and food preparation abilities.
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management capabilities.
