Assistant Accounting Manager

About the role

The Assistant Accounting Manager will support the accounting and reconciliation function for a global business travel operation. You will ensure accurate reporting, manage reconciliation processes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage global reconciliation processes, including bank, general ledger, and sub‑ledger reconciliations.
• Validate reports to guarantee correct data flow for processing.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain clarifications and provide necessary information.
• Perform accounting controls and support internal and statutory audits.
• Participate in projects, perform ad‑hoc activities, and assist the team leader with related work.
• Build relationships with internal teams and outsource vendors to identify process improvements.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification with 3‑6 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in a shared services environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting entries.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and independent work capabilities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver results in a fast‑paced setting.
