Assessment Developer – English Language Specialist

About the role

The Assessment Developer – English Language Specialist will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality assessment items and tests aligned with educational standards. You will work closely with internal teams and external subject‑matter experts to ensure assessments are valid, reliable, and meet client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review, and refine test items and assessment content.
• Assemble and review test forms, pre‑tests, and computer‑adaptive testing (CAT) pools.
• Analyze item performance data to improve test quality.
• Support scoring activities, validation studies, and test development projects.
• Collaborate with clients, committees, and SMEs on assessment initiatives.
• Update test preparation materials, publications, and program documentation.
• Participate in teacher training and knowledge‑sharing activities.
• Ensure compliance with assessment standards, quality requirements, and ethical guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience as an English language educator, trainer, or teacher.
• Strong knowledge of assessment design and educational standards.
• Ability to work with psychometricians, instructional designers, editors, and AI engineers.
