Area Sales Manager – South1 Zone (Karnataka)

About the role

3M is seeking an experienced sales professional to lead its Electronics portfolio in the South1 Zone, primarily Karnataka. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and converting opportunities across a range of electronics segments.

Key responsibilities

• Map and target key customers in Consumer, Auto, Industrial, Telecommunications, IT Hardware, Aerospace & Defense, and Display Electronics.
• Collaborate with Global Key Account Managers, Area Segment Marketers, and Application Development Engineers to capture the latest specifications and product applications.
• Translate internal insights into sales opportunities within the Indian ecosystem.
• Engage with OEMs, Contract Manufacturers, Original Design Manufacturers, and converters to build strong relationships.
• Serve as the single point of contact for decision‑makers and manage distributor and converter sales teams.
• Achieve territory sales targets, increase account penetration, and ensure comprehensive area coverage.

Required profile

• Proven track record in electronics manufacturing sales and consistent forecast achievement.
• Deep understanding of customer pain points and ability to align 3M solutions.
• Knowledge of competitor offerings and 3M unique selling propositions.
• Strong product and application expertise across 3M’s electronics portfolio.
• Macro‑level industry perspective to provide strategic insights to customers.
