Area Sales Manager – North India (Building Services)

About the role

Join Armstrong Fluid Technology, a global leader in fluid‑flow technology, and help shape sustainable solutions for the building services market in North India. As an Area Sales Manager you will drive sales growth, manage consultant and channel relationships, and expand our presence across Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Jammu & Kashmir. The role focuses on hospitality, healthcare and commercial construction projects in both private and government sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales and business development for the Building Services portfolio across the assigned North India territory.
• Plan territory activities, manage opportunities, engage consultants and ensure specification, conversion and order closure.
• Support regional sales targets through disciplined pipeline management and strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with consulting engineers, architects, EPC contractors and channel partners to drive consultant‑led specification selling.
• Work with the Regional Sales Manager and channel partners to create and monitor annual business plans and key‑account strategies.
• Coordinate commercial and technical inputs, participate in customer meetings, technical presentations and project reviews.

Required profile

• University B.Tech degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of B2B sales experience in HVAC, pumping systems or building services.
• Proven experience working with architects, consulting engineers, EPC contractors and channel partners in the North India market.
• Strong understanding of building‑services applications, consultant‑led sales processes and project‑based business models.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using CRM tools such as Infor CRM and Salesforce.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and other engineering documents.
• Competence in HVAC calculations, including Hat exchange, friction and static calculations on the air and fluid side.
