Area Sales Executive – Territory Sales

About the role

The Area Sales Executive is responsible for driving secondary sales, managing channel partners, and ensuring market execution across the assigned territory. You will act as the commercial bridge between field teams and the business, supporting dealers, retailers and wholesalers to achieve growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve secondary sales targets and set objectives for Area Workers (AW) and Area Worker Sales Managers (AWSM).
• Communicate objectives, track progress and provide regular performance updates.
• Align, support and motivate AWs, ensuring they have the necessary infrastructure and systems.
• Coach, train and evaluate AWSM performance on best practices, sales call processes and merchandising.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing dealers, increasing depth and width per dealer.
• Prospect new outlets, execute visibility and merchandising plans, and launch new consumer promotions and trade schemes.
• Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, promotions and new launches; maintain accurate records and MIS reporting.
• Represent Britannia for consumer complaints, coordinate with Quality team and ensure issues are resolved.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• Competencies in market execution, business development, channel partner management, selling and negotiation.
