Area Medical Advisor, Vaccines

About the role

The Area Medical Advisor, Vaccines will provide scientific expertise and build relationships with key opinion leaders to support Pfizer’s vaccine portfolio. Working remotely in the field, you will act as a bridge between healthcare professionals and internal teams, ensuring accurate medical information and fostering research collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge‑based relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the region.
• Educate healthcare professionals on Pfizer vaccine products, answering scientific queries.
• Collect and relay insights on product usage, unmet needs, and research opportunities to marketing, sales, and clinical development teams.
• Stay current with scientific literature and clinical developments in the vaccine therapeutic area.
• Support the implementation of medical activities aligned with brand plans, including KOL meetings, advisory boards, and CME events.
• Participate as speaker or moderator in round‑table discussions and provide medical input for launch preparations.
• Assist sales force training by delivering medical expertise.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Medicine or related medical sciences (e.g., MBBS, MD, PhD, MPH).
• 0–2 years of experience in Medical Affairs or related pharmaceutical roles.
• Strong analytical and medical judgment skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical industry processes, drug discovery and development.
• Understanding of clinical pharmacology and medical statistics.
• Familiarity with medical writing and presentation preparation.
