Area Manager – Sales (Guwahati)

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking an experienced Area Manager – Sales to lead and grow its aftermarket business in Guwahati. You will be responsible for implementing sales strategies, managing product portfolios, and driving revenue across trade and workshop channels.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the regional sales strategy to achieve business growth.
• Set and monitor sales targets for trade customers to increase market share.
• Supervise sales programs for all product lines to ensure the desired product mix.
• Assess and collect receivables to support financial objectives.
• Develop workshop business to generate secondary turnover.
• Execute secondary and tertiary trade programs to boost retail sales.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech (preferably from a premier institute); MBA in Marketing is desirable.
• 2‑5 years of aftermarket sales experience, preferably in automotive, automobile, or FMCG sectors.
• 3+ years of experience in sales and distribution.
• Strong competence in sales, basic financial knowledge, and product management.
• Proficiency with digital tools, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent customer relationship, analytical, and communication skills.
• Local language proficiency in Assamese or Bengali is preferred.
