Area Manager – Retail Branch (Broking)

About the role

The Area Manager will lead the retail broking business for an assigned region, driving revenue, profitability and customer acquisition across multiple branches. You will implement strategies to expand the book size, manage portfolios and build high‑performing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business growth and achieve sales targets for broking, mutual funds, PMS, loans, insurance and bonds.
• Implement expansion and profitability strategies for the allocated area.
• Manage a network of 6 branches, overseeing dealer relationships and daily revenue performance.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI, RBI, AMFI, FMC, IRDA and other regulatory bodies.
• Monitor competition and market trends to maintain a strong market share.
• Lead team building, functional capability improvement and portfolio management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail broking or financial services sales.
• Strong understanding of equity, commodity and currency markets.
• Ability to manage multiple branches and dealer networks.
• Track record of achieving revenue and profit targets.
• Knowledge of regulatory environment governing broking activities.
