Area Manager – Community Mobilization (Multiple Cities)

About the role

We are looking for dynamic Area Managers to lead community mobilisation initiatives across several districts in India. The role involves working from home while travelling daily to various blocks to build and support teams that empower rural communities.

Key responsibilities

• Select, recruit and manage a team of 5‑6 community mobilisers in each assigned district.
• Guide the team in creating awareness using posters, banners, pamphlets, and motivational videos.
• Establish rapport with village leaders such as sarpanch, teachers, caste leaders, ASHA and Anganwadi workers to facilitate community engagement.
• Motivate community members to acquire new skills that enhance income through agriculture, dairy, poultry, goatry, masonry, carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc.
• Organise and oversee training sessions, ensuring participants receive certification upon successful completion.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• Experience in sales, FMCG, social sector, insurance or agro‑finance with a focus on community outreach.
• Own a bike and an Android mobile phone.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work exclusively in the field.
• Proactive mindset and ability to travel daily within the district.
