Area Head – Gold Loans

About the role

The Area Head – Gold Loans will lead the strategy, growth, profitability and operational governance of gold loan business across multiple branches in India. This senior position is responsible for achieving asset‑under‑management, disbursement, P&L, branch expansion and compliance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution of the gold‑loan strategy and deliver growth and profitability targets.
• Oversee portfolio quality, monitor market updates and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build and nurture relationships with enabling functions, regional stakeholders and external partners.
• Manage a team of branch heads, set business plans, manpower structure and productivity benchmarks aligned with national strategy.
• Lead branch expansion initiatives and ensure achievement of AUM and disbursement goals.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in financial services, preferably within NBFC or loan‑product businesses.
• Strong understanding of gold‑loan products, portfolio management and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with cross‑functional and regional teams.
• Track record of delivering growth, profitability and operational excellence.
