Architectural Designer

About the role

We are looking for an Architectural Designer to create and develop detailed architectural and civil drawings, support project execution, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves turning design concepts into construction‑ready documents and ensuring their accurate implementation on site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and modify architectural, structural and working drawings using AutoCAD and related drafting software, and convert concepts into Good‑For‑Construction (GFC) drawings.
• Coordinate drawings across civil, structural, MEP and interior disciplines, maintaining revision logs and version control.
• Assist site engineers in aligning drawings with on‑site conditions, conduct site visits, and produce as‑built drawings during handover.
• Perform quantity take‑offs, BOQ preparation and basic rate analysis, and support detailing for foundations, RCC works, finishes, façade and joinery.
• Verify drawings before issuance, maintain RFI logs, drawing transmittals and support QA/QC, tender documentation and material submittals.
• Collaborate with architects, structural consultants, contractors and PMC teams, and contribute to client presentations and design meetings.

Required profile

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or related diploma (M.Tech optional).
• Strong knowledge of RCC, finishes, detailing and construction drawings.
• Ability to convert hand sketches or conceptual ideas into accurate technical drawings and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (2D mandatory, 3D optional).
• SketchUp, Revit and Lumion (advantageous).
• Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Word, Project.
