Architect I

About the role

Arcadis is seeking an Architect I to join its Global Excellence Centre (GEC). The role supports the delivery of resilience, water resource management and other engineering projects, working with multidisciplinary teams across India, Romania, the Philippines and other Arcadis locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical aspects of smaller or less complex tasks and components of larger projects.
• Coordinate and lead single‑discipline design teams and technicians.
• Prepare accurate documentation, reports and technical drawings from concept design through construction documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Arcadis standards, health and safety principles and relevant codes of practice.
• Allocate work, plan project schedules and optimise resource utilisation.

Required profile

• Demonstrates Arcadis behavioural framework and promotes health and safety.
• Capable of working independently to develop technical solutions aligned with project objectives.
• Strong technical mindset with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• Experience in planning and managing medium‑size or moderately complex tasks.

Required skills

• BIM (Building Information Modeling) proficiency.
• Technical drawing production (plans, sections, elevations, details).
