Architect – Design

About the role

WSP India is seeking an experienced Architect to lead design development using Revit and BIM tools. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, sustainable architectural solutions for major projects in the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Produce BIM models and detailed construction drawings using Revit.
• Provide technical input on materials, details, and specifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to optimise design solutions.
• Ensure integration of architectural design with other disciplines through proactive coordination.
• Support the creation of a standard detail library and efficient production processes.
• Deliver design management, review, and client consultation to realise project intent.
• Manage design submissions, change processes and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Drive design efforts to meet programme schedules, cost targets and quality standards while adhering to environmental and sustainability best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience on major architectural projects, preferably in the GCC.
• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong leadership, delegation and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multi‑discipline team.
• Willingness to undergo background verification as required by WSP India.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for modelling and drafting.
• Experience with BIM workflows and coordination.
