Architect – CAD & Construction Documentation (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architect to join an AI‑focused project on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will create, review and validate high‑quality architectural and engineering documentation that will be used to train next‑generation AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural floor plans, elevations and full construction drawing sets based on project specifications.
• Develop accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for architectural and engineering applications.
• Prepare precise GD&T annotations for technical and manufacturing documentation.
• Create, review and annotate multi‑sheet electrical schematics following industry standards.
• Design, evaluate and review PCB layout documentation where applicable.
• Collaborate with project teams to clarify technical requirements and resolve documentation questions.
• Deliver organized documentation packages that meet milestones and quality expectations.
• Contribute expertise to improve AI training datasets through accurate technical documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of recent professional experience in architectural CAD drafting and construction documentation.
• Strong proficiency with industry‑standard 2D/3D CAD software and architectural drafting tools.
• Experience creating and interpreting GD&T callouts, technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Hands‑on experience with multi‑sheet electrical schematics and PCB layout documentation (highly desirable).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation across multiple deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
