Applied Machine Learning / Computer Vision Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Applied Machine Learning / Computer Vision Engineer to join an innovative AI team in Mohali. You will work on a next‑generation platform that combines computer vision, multimodal AI, applied machine learning, and large language models to deliver real‑time visual intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise computer‑vision and image‑processing pipelines.
• Build solutions for video analysis, understanding, and real‑time visual processing.
• Develop multimodal AI systems that fuse vision, audio, and language data.
• Implement object detection, image segmentation, classification, tracking and related techniques.
• Fine‑tune vision‑language models and transformer‑based architectures.
• Integrate large language models for reasoning and automated decision‑making.
• Evaluate, optimise, and deploy machine‑learning models in production.
• Improve model inference speed, accuracy, scalability and resource efficiency.
• Translate research papers into practical product features and build production‑grade APIs.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to meet business requirements.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of experience in applied machine learning, computer vision or deep learning.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands‑on experience with PyTorch.
• Practical knowledge of OpenCV and image/video processing.
• Familiarity with object detection, segmentation and transformer architectures.
• Ability to move models from experimentation to production.
• Self‑motivated, analytical and comfortable working in a fast‑moving research‑driven environment.
