About the role
Monolithic Power Systems is seeking an Applications Engineer to work with design engineers and customers on power management ICs and system‑level solutions for consumer, networking, automotive and other markets. The role involves product specification, field support and collaboration with sales and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers and sales channel partners across the territory.
- Coordinate technical matters with the factory in California and design centers in Hangzhou and Chengdu.
- Manage joint development programs and discover new application opportunities.
- Lead technical discussions, demonstrations and training for internal teams and customers.
Required profile
- 5‑6 years of hands‑on experience in analog power management, design, testing or as a field application engineer in the semiconductor industry.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local language, with willingness to travel as needed.
- Self‑starter able to operate with minimal supervision.
Required skills
- Design of power electronics circuits, especially DC/DC converters and PMICs.
- Experience with I2C, PMBus, automotive power electronics and motor driver applications.
- Understanding of common power‑supply architectures and control‑loop operation.
- Ability to evaluate electronic performance of EVB and customer boards on bench.
