Application Software Engineer 2

About the role

The Application Software Engineer 2 will work across the full software development lifecycle to design, develop, and maintain application features. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, troubleshoot API integrations, and ensure code quality while providing limited production support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver small‑to‑medium features end‑to‑end within a single application.
• Provide production support during business hours and participate in incident rotations.
• Troubleshoot routine and non‑routine issues across application services and integration paths.
• Coordinate with QA and engineering to ensure test coverage and release readiness.
• Apply architectural guidelines and raise design questions when needed.
• Break down requirements into maintainable modules, write unit tests, and document API dependencies.
• Contribute to team build priorities based on reliability and scalability needs.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and secure coding standards.
• Ability to debug and resolve simple to moderately complex application issues.
• Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers to clarify requirements.
• Willingness to learn and follow best practices for code quality and performance optimization.
