Application Software Engineer 2

About the role

We are looking for an Application Software Engineer 2 to join our development team. The role involves delivering new features, maintaining existing applications, and providing production support. You will work across the full software development lifecycle to design, code, test, and troubleshoot application components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver small‑to‑medium features end‑to‑end within a single application.
• Provide production support during business hours and participate in incident rotations.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve routine and moderately complex issues across application services and integration paths.
• Collaborate with QA, designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure test coverage and release readiness.
• Document API dependencies, design decisions, and code changes for assigned features.
• Apply architectural guidelines, secure coding standards, and code‑quality practices.
• Perform periodic maintenance, patching, and upgrades for critical vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Experience delivering features from design through implementation and testing.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for debugging and troubleshooting application issues.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Willingness to follow and help improve development best practices and coding standards.
