Android POS Developer (Kotlin & Jetpack Compose)

About the role

Worldline is looking for a skilled Android POS Developer to join its payment engineering team. You will work on hardened Android terminals (Ingenico, PAX, Verifone) and deliver high‑performance, secure user interfaces using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement terminal UI with Jetpack Compose, optimizing state management for low‑RAM devices.
• Translate low‑level designs into clean, maintainable Kotlin code.
• Integrate OEM SDKs to control card readers, printers, and scanners.
• Learn and apply payment protocols such as ISO 8583, nexo, ep2, CTAP, and ISO 20022.
• Follow defensive coding standards (OWASP Mobile Top 10, PCI‑DSS) to protect sensitive data.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development and testing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow, and Jetpack Compose.
• Ability to work on resource‑constrained, hardened devices.
• Willingness to quickly master payment specifications and security requirements.
