Android Framework Architect

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking an Android Framework Architect to join its Bangalore team. You will work on advanced Android platforms, including AOSP and Android Automotive Infotainment, driving innovative solutions for automotive applications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute technical activities related to Android framework development.
• Collaborate within an agile, cross‑functional team environment.
• Contribute innovative ideas and solutions for Android Automotive and AAOS media topics.
• Apply software life‑cycle methodologies throughout the development process.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Self‑directed team player willing to stretch when required.
• Experience with Android Automotive Infotainment and AAOS for media.
• Strong collaborative and delivery‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of the Android framework.
• Expertise with Android framework versions from 1.5 onward.
• Knowledge of Android Open Source Project (AOSP) architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with Android Automotive Infotainment.
• Expertise in AAOS for media and related topics.
• Solid experience with software life‑cycle methodologies.
