Android Developer (Kotlin & Jetpack)

About the role

Capco is looking for an experienced Android Developer to join its Vadodara team. You will work on high‑impact mobile applications for leading banks and financial institutions, using Kotlin, Java and modern Jetpack libraries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, high‑performance Android applications.
• Own features from design through implementation, testing and production release.
• Contribute to application architecture, coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code; participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA and backend teams to deliver user‑centric solutions.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs and stability issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Kotlin and Java.
• Deep knowledge of the Android SDK and modern development frameworks.
• Proficiency with Jetpack components such as ViewModel, Room, LiveData and Navigation.
• Experience applying MVVM and Clean Architecture principles.
• Understanding of application security and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with unit testing, CI/CD pipelines and code quality tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
