Android Developer

About the role

In this role, you will be developing 75F’s next‑generation IoT applications for Smart Buildings. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of cloud and firmware engineers to create software products that significantly reduce energy consumption in commercial buildings while ensuring occupant comfort and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and deliver new features for the Android gateway application that runs building‑optimization algorithms and connects to the cloud.
• Collaborate with cloud and firmware engineers in a scaled agile environment across multiple time zones.
• Write user documentation for internal processes and external customer support.
• Participate in field problem resolution, ensuring secure coding practices are followed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of professional experience developing Java and Kotlin applications for Android/Linux platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a global setup.
• Passionate, self‑motivated learner eager to stay current with technology.
