About the role

MoneyPlus Financial Services Limited, an RBI‑registered NBFC, is transitioning its Android product in‑house. As the sole Android engineer, you will inherit the Utharbox codebase, handle bug fixes, add new features, and manage Play Store publishing while working closely with the Product Head.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance the live Utharbox Android app.
• Add new features and integrations such as referral systems, third‑party SDKs, and face‑match.
• Manage app releases, versioning, and end‑to‑end Play Store listing.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST APIs.
• Participate in codebase modernisation and architecture improvements.
• Work within an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and technical roadmaps.

Required profile

• Owned and managed a live production Android app end‑to‑end.
• Hands‑on Google Play Store publishing experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
• Experience integrating REST APIs in a live Android application.
• Production exposure to Jetpack Compose.
