Android Developer – Full Stack TV & Big Screen Apps

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to build and maintain full‑stack applications that deliver rich customer experiences on TV and large‑screen devices. The role combines native Android development with modern web technologies and requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full‑stack applications for TV and big‑screen devices using Native Android, React Native, TypeScript and GraphQL.
• Design and implement developer tools such as unit/integration testing frameworks, command‑line interfaces, Git helpers and CI/CD integrations (GitLab/Gitfarm).
• Create operational metrics, dashboards and telemetry to monitor performance and reliability.
• Provide hands‑on support and training to peers on Android, web development, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to gather requirements, deliver technical insights and ensure timely, high‑quality releases.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with Java, Kotlin, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong object‑oriented design fundamentals and experience with design patterns, reliability and scaling.
• 2+ years building native Android or Android TV applications, including Leanback and large‑screen UI patterns.
• Experience in full‑stack development and integration with REST/GraphQL backend services.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch) and video playback stacks (ExoPlayer, DRM, streaming).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
