Android Developer (AOSP) – Hyderabad

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Android (AOSP) Developer to join Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice in Hyderabad. You will design, develop, customize and maintain Android platform software, collaborating closely with hardware, BSP, kernel and application teams to deliver tailored Android OS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Android framework components and device customizations.
• Integrate hardware abstraction layers (HAL) and manage Android Binder IPC, HIDL/AIDL interfaces.
• Work in an agile and DevOps environment using version‑control and CI/CD tools.
• Optimize performance, memory usage and security of Android builds.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end Android OS releases.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of professional experience in Android platform development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or equivalent.
• Immediate availability and local residency in Hyderabad.
