Android Developer (2+ Years Experience)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with at least two years of professional experience to join our mobile app team. You will work on high‑performance Android applications, leveraging modern AI‑assisted development tools to deliver innovative user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimise Android applications.
• Build scalable, responsive, and user‑friendly mobile interfaces.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, Firebase services, ad networks, and billing systems.
• Implement advanced image, video, and multimedia processing features.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve app performance and stability.
• Collaborate closely with design, backend, and product teams.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Understanding of Android lifecycle, architecture components, and API levels.
• ConstraintLayout, Material Design, background & foreground services.
• Image processing, Canvas, OpenGL, multi‑threading, memory optimisation.
• Media Store API, FFmpeg, Android NDK.
• REST API integration, Google Billing Library, in‑app purchases, subscriptions.
• Ad mediation, multiple ad networks.
• Firebase suite: Crashlytics, Analytics, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging (FCM), A/B testing.
• Unit testing, strong debugging skills.
• Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor AI, Claude AI, GitHub Copilot and effective prompting for code generation, debugging and refactoring.
