AML QA Specialist – Multilingual (Arabic/French/Spanish/Italian)

About the role

The Compliance Quality team is seeking a multilingual AML Quality Assurance Specialist to audit high‑complexity AML operations across Amazon's payment entities. The role ensures robust controls, minimizes risk, and identifies improvement opportunities while supporting operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform AML quality audits on behalf of the Quality Assurance team.
• Partner with operational teams to deliver findings and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide AML subject‑matter expertise during meetings, workshops, and leadership reviews.
• Create and update guidance, program documents, and audit procedures.
• Conduct investigations including suspicious activity, sanctions screening, and enhanced due diligence.
• Link policies, SOPs, internal controls, monitoring, and reporting to strengthen compliance and risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of AML or compliance experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience handling confidential information and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in Arabic, French, Spanish, or Italian.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel (pivot tables, charts, complex formulas).
• Professional auditing qualification or comparable risk/compliance credential.
• In‑depth knowledge of AML regulations, financial institution compliance, and EU banking standards.
• Language proficiency: Arabic, French, Spanish, or Italian.
