Alignment Design Engineer – Track

About the role

SYSTRA is seeking an Alignment Design Engineer to join its track design team for metro and railway projects in India. The role focuses on creating precise horizontal and vertical alignments and supporting detailed design activities for mass rapid transit systems.

Key responsibilities

• Surface creation and development of horizontal and vertical alignments.
• Prepare cross‑section templates using Civil 3D and OpenRail.
• Perform earthwork calculations and corridor modelling for metro projects.
• Support miscellaneous design works required for detailed metro track design.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in alignment design for metro or conventional railways.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization.
