AI Faculty – Applied AI Certificate Instructor

About the role

The AI Faculty member will lead IWP Academy’s Certificate in Applied AI, a 36‑session, nine‑module programme designed for creative and business professionals. Delivered in a hybrid format, the role combines centrally produced online theory with live, on‑campus lab practice, critiques and project supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver live campus sessions for all nine modules, guiding lab work, structured critiques and group activities.
• Supervise learners through capstone projects that address real client briefs, from scoping to final delivery.
• Assess learner work against the programme rubric, evaluating process documentation, verification rigour and ethical compliance.
• Participate in the Demo Day oral defence panel, questioning learners on their working process.
• Maintain assessment integrity by ensuring every graded piece includes a process log.
• Mentor learners on portfolio development and professional positioning.
• Contribute to the mandatory six‑month content refresh, verifying tools, fallbacks and legal content are up‑to‑date.
• Support admissions counselling with accurate programme information.
• Engage in academic meetings and institutional initiatives while fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• Proven professional use of generative AI in commercial projects, with demonstrable client deliverables.
• Hands‑on experience with current generative AI tools for text, image and video.
• Ability to construct, iterate and control prompts to achieve desired styles.
• Capability to explain AI system operation and ethical considerations.
