About the role

The Global Pricing & Interchange team at Mastercard is seeking an AI Engineer to drive the adoption of artificial intelligence, generative AI, and emerging technologies. You will design, build, and deploy scalable AI solutions that enhance decision‑making, operational efficiency, and business outcomes across pricing and interchange initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML, generative AI, and agentic AI solutions to address complex business challenges.
• Build and maintain Large Language Model (LLM) applications, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, intelligent agents, and multimodal AI solutions from prototype through production.
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, governance, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with global business, analytics, and technology stakeholders to integrate AI‑powered capabilities.
• Establish engineering best practices and contribute to the future of AI‑enabled decision‑making within the organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, developing, and operationalizing enterprise‑grade AI solutions.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional teams and translate business needs into technical implementations.
• Understanding of security, governance, and regulatory considerations for AI deployments.
