AGM/AVP HRO Delivery Manager – Chennai/Mumbai

About the role

The organization is seeking an experienced AGM/AVP HRO Delivery Manager to lead end‑to‑end HR outsourcing (HRO) operations across its Chennai and Mumbai delivery centers. This senior position will drive service excellence, manage client relationships, and ensure compliance with global SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all HRO processes including talent acquisition, workforce management, payroll, exit, and HTR across NAM, EMEA and APAC regions.
• Lead transition setups for global COE, handling knowledge transfer, SOP/SOW creation and MSA documentation.
• Negotiate and manage SLA commitments with clients, presenting daily governance through BIC and MIS reporting.
• Drive process improvements using QCP, FMEA, risk analysis and automation to enhance productivity and profitability.
• Manage financials, revenue levers and cost‑control mechanisms to improve gross margin.
• Develop and retain the delivery team through training, performance management and succession planning.
• Maintain confidential information with discretion and foster a positive team culture.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of experience in HRO operations with 15‑17 years in a global context.
• Proven expertise in end‑to‑end HRO processes and global ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation, client‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large teams, drive automation and deliver against SLAs.
