Advocate – Property, Civil & Corporate Law

About the role

The firm is seeking a full‑time Advocate to work on‑site in Ernakulam, handling a broad spectrum of legal matters in property, civil and corporate law. You will be part of a client‑centric team that values ethics, professionalism and tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and register agreements, sale deeds and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research, prepare opinions, pleadings and case strategies.
• Represent clients before courts and tribunals such as NCLT, KRERA, DRT and Family Courts.
• Coordinate with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders to manage cases and transactions.
• Support due‑diligence for property and corporate transactions and assist with registration and land‑conversion processes.
• Contribute to Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) and litigation support assignments.
• Maintain accurate case files, ensure regulatory compliance and uphold professional ethics.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in property law, conveyancing, land conversion and real‑estate documentation.
• Experience in civil and corporate litigation before NCLT, KRERA, DRT and Family Courts.
• Proficiency in legal research, case analysis and preparation of legal opinions, pleadings and notices.
• Ability to manage due‑diligence, assess legal risks and provide pragmatic advisory services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Malayalam is a plus.
• LL.B. from a recognized university and enrollment as an Advocate with the Bar Council; specialization in property or corporate law is advantageous.
