Advanced Software Engineer II – Enterprise Practices

About the role

Invesco is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer II to work within its Enterprise Practices team. The role focuses on DevOps coaching, improving delivery flow, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on coaching and support to engineering teams in a DevOps environment.
• Assess team needs and recommend tools, techniques, and practices that enhance quality, reliability, and delivery speed.
• Promote practical engineering practices across planning, development, testing, automation, release readiness, and operational feedback.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and working groups to build confidence in modern engineering practices.
• Assist teams in identifying and resolving process, practice, or tooling challenges that affect flow.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
