Advanced Engineer II – Alfresco & AWS Solutions

About the role

Invesco is seeking an Advanced Engineer II to design, develop, and customize Alfresco Content Services solutions. The role combines cloud infrastructure expertise with deep knowledge of content management, integration, and front‑end development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Alfresco Content Services, including workflows, content models, and external integrations.
• Deploy and manage Alfresco instances on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM) ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Integrate Alfresco with other applications using microservices (Spring Boot), REST APIs, and Node.js services.
• Build modern front‑end components for Alfresco applications using Angular and JavaScript.
• Configure and optimize Apache Solr for advanced search within Alfresco solutions.
• Apply SQL expertise for efficient data storage, retrieval, and performance tuning.
• Monitor and tune Alfresco performance, including database pools, Solr indexing, and AWS resource utilization.
• Debug and resolve technical issues across Alfresco, SQL, AWS, JavaScript frameworks, and Solr.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to align solutions with organizational goals.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, configuration guides, and user manuals.

Required profile

• 5+ years hands‑on experience with Alfresco Content Services (Enterprise Edition).
• 2+ years experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM).
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing Alfresco content models, behaviours, web scripts, workflows, and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in building front‑end components using Angular/ADF.
