Advanced Engineer I – Infra Run & Stability

About the role

Invesco is seeking an Advanced Engineer I to support its IT Service Management initiatives. You will work on ServiceNow customizations, develop technical solutions, and ensure smooth operation of infrastructure run and stability processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis, development, unit testing, quality assurance, system testing and implementation following the IT development lifecycle.
• Customize ServiceNow applications, including client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, business rules, workflow administration, reports and data imports.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow modules such as Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog, Configuration Management, Reporting, LDAP, SSO, MID Server, inbound email handling, Discovery/Service Mapping and Service Portal.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using Web Services, LDAP, SOAP, HTTP, MID Server and Orchestration.
• Support user acceptance testing, prepare documentation, and provide on‑call support as needed.
• Identify system deficiencies, recommend improvements and ensure timely implementation of the latest ServiceNow releases.
• Collaborate with business analysts, process owners and project managers to deliver solutions within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of systems development experience using structured methods.
• Proven experience designing and developing ServiceNow modules and applications.
• Strong knowledge of AJAX, CSS, HTML, DHTML, XSL and JavaScript.
• Understanding of ServiceNow modules (Change, Incident, Problem, Service Catalog, Configuration Management, Reporting, LDAP, SSO, MID Server, inbound emails, Discovery/Service Mapping, Service Portal).
• Experience with integration technologies such as Web Services, LDAP, SOAP, HTTP, MID Server and Orchestration.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, UML modeling and relational database design.
