Adobe Commerce Technical Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Commerce Technical Lead to drive the design and delivery of enterprise‑scale B2B and B2C digital commerce platforms for Bosch Group in Bengaluru. The role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, ensuring high‑performance, secure, and scalable solutions built on Adobe Commerce (Magento Open Source/Commerce Cloud).

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development and implementation of Adobe Commerce solutions for large‑scale B2B/B2C platforms.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into maintainable, high‑quality code.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering standards and best practices.
• Develop custom Magento modules, extensions and integrations using REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Integrate with ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS, payment gateways, tax and shipping systems.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects on architecture, performance optimisation, scalability and security.
• Implement caching strategies with Redis, Varnish and CDNs (Fastly/Cloudflare) and optimise application performance.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments and DevOps processes.
• Mentor junior developers and lead knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Assist pre‑sales teams with technical estimates and feasibility assessments.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of software development experience, including 4+ years of hands‑on Adobe Commerce (Magento) development.
• Strong expertise in PHP and the Magento framework, including module development, dependency injection, plugins and observers.
• Proven experience with headless/composable commerce implementations.
• Ability to lead teams, troubleshoot complex production issues and drive continuous improvement.
