Admissions Head / Professor (Education & Hospitality)

About the role

The Admissions Head / Professor will lead the student admissions process and oversee centre operations for a hospitality skill academy. This senior role combines business development, academic coordination, and team leadership to drive growth and maintain high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end student admissions, achieving monthly and annual targets.
• Plan and execute admission campaigns, counselling sessions, walk‑ins and follow‑ups.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, consultants and industry partners.
• Oversee daily centre operations and coordinate with faculty, trainers and academic teams.
• Ensure compliance with institute policies and quality standards.
• Support placement activities and industry engagement.
• Manage admissions counsellors and support staff, tracking leads and conversions.
• Prepare MIS reports and coordinate with corporate HR and senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in education institutes, colleges, skill development centres or hospitality academies.
• Strong background in admissions, counselling or centre management.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Target‑driven, result‑oriented and willing to travel locally for admissions activities.
• Graduate or postgraduate qualification, preferably in Education, Hospitality or Management.
