ADAS Project Lead / Technical Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced ADAS Project Lead with over 10 years of expertise to manage and oversee complex automotive testing and development projects. The role combines project leadership, hands‑on testing, and regulatory compliance to deliver advanced driver assistance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ADAS projects from conception to delivery, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget are met.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including testing engineers, development teams, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee comprehensive ADAS testing programs (functional, performance, safety) and conduct hands‑on test execution on tracks and public roads.
• Design test strategies for features such as ACC, LKA, AEB, BSD and run Field Operational Testing (FOT) programs.
• Ensure homologation compliance with UN‑ECE, FMVSS, Euro NCAP and Indian AIS standards, and lead certification processes.
• Provide technical guidance on sensor integration, ECU calibration, DFMEA, and HIL testing.

Required profile

• 10+ years of automotive experience focused on ADAS, with a proven track record of leading projects.
• Hands‑on experience in ADAS testing, vehicle setup, test driving, and equipment operation.
• Strong background in homologation and regulatory compliance for ADAS systems.
• Project management skills, PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Required skills

• Radar, camera, lidar, ultrasonic sensor technologies.
• Electronics systems and automotive electrical architecture.
• Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
• Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) testing platforms.
• Automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay.
• Standards: ISO 26262, ISO 21448 (SOTIF), UN‑ECE, Euro NCAP, AIS‑140, AIS‑147.
• Test equipment: GNSS/IMU, data loggers, CAN tools, sensor calibration equipment.
• Programming/scripting: Python, MATLAB/Simulink, CANoe.
