ADAS HiL Expert

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ADAS Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HiL) expert to join Bosch's Global Software Technologies team in Bangalore. You will help build and maintain a robust testing infrastructure for advanced driver‑assistance systems, ensuring high‑quality validation across multiple vehicle networks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop HiL systems to provide scalable testing environments.
• Implement and support bus communication standards such as CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet, diagnostics, and XCP.
• Administer system configurations, including BIOS setup, Linux image management, and network infrastructure for development and testing.
• Integrate new ADAS HiL setups and 3D models using CARLA and CarMaker.
• Perform integration, smoke, and regression testing, and debug issues on Linux and Windows platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong team player with solution‑oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and across cultures.

Required skills

• Advanced C++ programming (5+ years) and Python (2+ years).
• Build‑system expertise (CMake, Visual Studio, clang, GCC).
• Experience with Linux and Windows system administration.
• Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO26262, and vehicle network protocols (CAN, SomeIP, FlexRay, Ethernet, XCP).
• Hands‑on experience with HiL/SiL systems, ECU hardware architectures, and sensor/vehicle modeling.
• Familiarity with version‑control tools (Conan) and requirement management (DOORS/RQM).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure Pipelines) and workflow automation.
