Accounts Receivables Billing Specialist

About the role

Gratitude India is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivables Billing Specialist with 4-6 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing operations or the insurance brokerage industry. The role supports billing and receivables activities, delivers excellent customer service and ensures transactions are completed accurately within timelines and service-level agreements. Locations are Nagpur and Pune; candidates must be willing to work in a 24x7 shift environment, including US shift hours.

Key responsibilities

• Handle accounts receivable and billing transactions according to established procedures.
• Support insurance billing operations and keep accurate billing records.
• Work with insurance agency management systems such as Applied Epic, BenefitPoint and AMS360 where applicable.
• Respond to internal and external customer queries professionally and promptly.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure compliance with prescribed guidelines.
• Use MS Excel and other MS Office tools for billing, tracking and reporting.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Keep financial and customer information confidential and accurate.

Required profile

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, billing or related operations.
• Experience in insurance brokerage or Property & Casualty insurance is preferred.
• Working knowledge of insurance billing cycles and basic insurance terminology.
• PAN and date of birth are mandatory for profile creation; former TCS employees cannot apply.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Outlook.
• Familiarity with agency management systems such as Applied Epic, BenefitPoint or AMS360 is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, good time management and ability to meet SLA requirements.
