Accounts Receivable Internship

About the role

Quaestor Advisors, an affiliated entity of Arena Investors, provides portfolio and asset servicing for Arena and a select group of partners. It is looking for interns for its Bengaluru office to support Accounts Receivable activities. The internship is open to walk-in applicants.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Accounts Receivable master roll forward with expenses, cash receipts and accurate customer coding.
• Reconcile monthly to the general ledger and expense schedules to ensure accurate reporting of customer receivables.
• Assist with billing and collections, coordinating with Operations, Asset Management and Accounting to recover funds on time.
• Retrieve daily cash activity from the banking system and liaise with the Treasury Accountant to book entries in NetSuite.
• Research and resolve ad hoc queries on customer outstanding balances.
• Process cash transfers in the wire system related to Accounts Receivable transactions.
• Prepare monthly accounts receivable aging reports for management.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, thinking broadly about the business and continuously improving processes.
• Master's degree from a top university, ideally in a quantitative area such as finance, economics or accounting.
• 0-2 years of direct experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of personal integrity and ethical standards.
