Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections Associate

About the role

Gratitude India is hiring a full-time Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections Associate in Gurugram (listed under the BPO 1 band, code 433173). The role manages customer accounts, drives timely collections, reduces aged receivables and supports cash flow objectives. Candidates must be comfortable working primarily on UK shifts, including rotational 24x7 shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Review and manage an allocated AR portfolio and follow up on overdue and outstanding invoices by email and call
• Secure payment commitments (PTPs) and monitor aging accounts to reduce overdue receivables
• Investigate and resolve invoice disputes, deductions, billing issues and payment queries
• Coordinate with Billing, Sales, Cash Application and Dispute Management teams
• Maintain collection notes, conduct account reconciliations and support month-end activities
• Prepare collection reports and support DSO reduction initiatives, achieving collection, aging and productivity targets

Required profile

• 1-5 years of overall experience; 2+ years in B2B collections or AR preferred
• Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Relevant AR or collections experience preferred; former TCS employees cannot apply

Required skills

• Understanding of AR and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, AR aging and collection strategies
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer-handling skills
• MS Excel and reporting
• Familiarity with ERP tools such as SAP, Oracle or JD Edwards (preferred)
