Accounts Receivable Analyst

About the role

BASF is building a new Global Hub in India and seeks an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join its Finance team in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end processing of receivables, ensuring accuracy, compliance with service level agreements, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash applications, customer refunds and extensions according to guidelines.
• Execute closing activities and resolve ad‑hoc customer account requests.
• Serve as point of contact for other accounting areas.
• Participate in medium‑sized projects and support external audits, internal controls, and year‑end footnote preparation.
• Analyse data to suggest and implement automation and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or administrative finance duties.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast‑paced global environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
