Accounts Executive – Finance & Accounting

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Executive (or Senior Accounts Executive) to manage day‑to‑day finance and accounting operations for our fast‑growing natural personal‑care brand. The role involves handling bookkeeping, GST and TDS compliance, purchase and cost‑of‑goods‑sold accounting, as well as trade payables and receivables.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day accounting and bookkeeping activities, including recording and posting of accounting transactions.
• Perform GST reconciliation between purchase records, books of accounts and GST portal data, including ITC reconciliation.
• Manage purchase and COGS accounting, including purchase entries, reconciliation and COGS analysis.
• Handle trade payables, including vendor reconciliation, invoice verification, ageing analysis and payment follow‑up.
• Manage trade receivables, including customer reconciliation, ageing analysis and collection follow‑up.
• Ensure TDS compliance, including deduction, reconciliation and preparation/filing of TDS returns.
• Oversee sales invoicing, including preparation, verification and timely issuance of invoices.
• Perform bank, vendor and customer reconciliations and resolve outstanding differences.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation for audit and statutory compliance.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Good practical knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting and bookkeeping.
• Experience in GST/ITC reconciliation, purchase, COGS, AP and AR.
• Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
