Accounting Analyst – Associate Level

About the role

As an Accounting Analyst you will support day‑to‑day accounting operations and monthly financial close activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance. You will work closely with finance teams and internal stakeholders across locations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and process journal entries and support month‑end close within agreed timelines.
• Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor accounting queries, respond via shared mailboxes and ensure timely resolution.
• Identify process gaps, conduct root‑cause analysis and suggest corrective actions.
• Support intercompany accounting, financial statement preparation and monitoring of payroll, tax and credit loss accounting.

Required profile

• Freshly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) with strong accounting fundamentals.
• High attention to detail, analytical ability and ability to manage multiple activities under reporting deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions and macros).
• Power Automate and other robotic process automation tools.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle.
