Accountant – US IT Staffing (Onsite)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to oversee accounting and bookkeeping for our US IT staffing business. The role is onsite in Nagercoil/Tirunelveli and involves handling invoicing, payroll support, and financial reporting for staffing services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Generate and process client invoices for US staffing services.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Handle accounts payable, vendor invoices, and payment processing.
• Perform bank, credit‑card, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger entries and financial records.
• Support payroll processing for W2 employees, C2C consultants, and vendors.
• Review consultant timesheets to ensure accurate billing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with tax documentation, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with recruiters, account managers, and management on billing and financial matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with US IT staffing accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
