Accountant – SAP Master Data (Goa)

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to manage Vendor and Customer master data in SAP for our Goa office. You will ensure data accuracy, compliance, and support key Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update, block, and extend Vendor and Customer master records.
• Maintain master data at General Data, Company Code, Purchasing Organization, and Sales Area levels.
• Perform duplicate checks, data validation, and ensure completeness of tax, bank, payment, and credit details.
• Validate supporting documents such as W‑9, GST/VAT, bank confirmations, and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, internal audit controls, and data governance policies.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Sales, Finance, and Credit Control teams.
• Support onboarding of new vendors and customers and resolve data queries within SLA.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce.
• 2–5 years of experience with SAP master data management.
• Experience in shared services or global master data governance.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP/S/4 HANA modules (MM, SD, FI).
