Accountant – Pune

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Pune. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the preparation of financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records, vouchers, and invoices.
• Prepare and file monthly GST returns, generate E‑way Bills and E‑invoices, and ensure timely GST payments.
• Handle banking operations including NEFT, RTGS, cash deposits, cheque processing, and bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with the Logistics Department to receive bills and supporting documents.
• Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns and manage monthly TDS payments.
• Perform 26AS reconciliation and ledger reconciliation for parties.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and statutory audits.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of overall accounting experience.
• Graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Additional certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Tally.
• Proficiency in ZOHO and other ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
